Just a quick update. I've got logging in working and I can get the channel list and I can get the preliminary stream info. The problem is the streams have switched to RTMP which I think opens up a whole different can of worms. It looks like the BBC iPlayer plugin has some RTMP support that I can hopefully borrow, but I can't say for sure.
