Thank you Gabbel for your suggestions. WinSCP would seem very a attractive option if it enabled me to install Squeezebox Server on the NAS itself and run it from there.
Hi ply398, Vortexbox sounds interesting but would it run on the My Book Live NAS without a PC being switched-on and either work with or replace Squeezebox Server?
