Do you use SvrPowerControl? 
When you go to iPeng's list of players (swipe right on NowPlaying), do
you still see the Transporter?

This sounds a bit like a similar issue to this one to me:

Forget the stuff about the BBC in that thread, the BBC thing is
unrelated and not a problem.

I'd guess that either the server is still scanning, 7.6.x on some
installation can get stuck scanning. You can find out whether this is
the case in the server's web interface under "Settings->Information".
Here you should see whether the server is currently scanning.

The other suspect would be a case where all of a sudden the server
bombs iPeng or another Player/Controller with server status messages. I
don't think it would do this with a Transporter (it uses a different
protocol) but maybe even bombing iPeng could cause trouble for the
server. The next iPeng update will mitigate this (at least for iPeng)
by resetting the connection but I will not feel to confident unless the
underlying cause on the server side is found (Logitech are searching,
Michael has been seeing this as well).
