Hi Vagskal,
I have learned the hard way! When I started the library, some
considerable time ago, I hadn't heard of dbpoweramp. Neither did I
know much about MP3's or Flac. I knew about iPods etc, but the sound
they produce wasn't to my liking! It sounded so compressed.
I re-ripped my early library rips as they sounded flat in the standard
rip setting of Media Player. I then went to the maximum setting in MP3
on Media Player and that sounded better, however, I also got error
filled rips that weren't highlighted, by the program.
Learning from my mistakes, I discovered dbpoweramp a few years ago and
I am now ripping everything in Flac. I personally won't go back to
Media Player for rips again.

Muso is a very good program, and it gives a professional looking
front-end to the equally good L.M.S. and because it's "in your face" it
showed up the errors in my library. Still it keeps me off the streets!
