Have you specified the port in iPeng? https://myserver.com would translate into "https://myserver.com:443". That said: I have no idea whether SSL would work, especially for the comet connection that is being used for most of the communication. Also: _IF_ you get that to work then you'd have to configure your server to use port 443 on your local network, too, and I'm not sure _that_ is going to work, the port will probably not be available. Also, I'm not sure that the whole HTTPS tunneling thing will work at all. This is not a web site, a lot of the communication uses different protocols even though the comet connection is technically an HTTP stream. Why don't you just use a VPN? -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
