Without knowing every change you have made on your NAS, it is hard for anyone to know what the problem might be.
All I can suggest is to re-install the latest firmware for your My Book Live so you can start at square one, and then follow the steps I collected in my previous post. At step 2, rather than trying to change Twonky's port from 9000 to 8000, disable Twonky to eliminate it as a source of problems. Follow the rest of the steps, and if you get LMS working, then go back and try to change the Twonky port and re-enable it.
