I registered at dyndns and got a domain name. I accessed my Linksys router, went to the DDNS page, selected DYNDNS. I was asked for a user name and password. Are these new options just for VPN access? Need they match anything?
I then entered my new domain name as my host name. I configured my Windows machine for VPN. I went to the VPN page on my iPhone I selected PPTP and entered: Description John Greenwood Home Server - the name I got at YNDNS Account - the user name I entered on my router I turned VPN on,entered my password and got a message that the PPTP-VPN did not respond.
