Good morning, I installed Squeezeslave to try it out a few weeks ago but the restriction on radio stations less than 44.1khz (Talk Sport in particular...) rendered it a non starter for me so now I would like to uninstall it. I am running it on the same box as my server, a 2011 Mac Mini with Mountain Lion.
I have followed the Wiki parts relating to stopping/removing Softsqueeze but according to my server settings/information page it is still running. Here are my results: MNMini:~ nieldm$ ps ax | grep squeeze 90 ?? Ss 0:06.41 /opt/local/bin/squeezeslave -nBuilt-in Output -r15 -Y/var/tmp/squeezeslave.log -F 10272 ?? R 1:42.75 /Applications/Softsqueeze.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub -psn_0_766139 10286 s000 S+ 0:00.00 grep squeeze ...which looks like it is running (I am no expert here so please correct me if I am wrong). And then... MNMini:~ nieldm$ launchctl remove squeezelave launchctl remove error: No such process MNMini:~ nieldm$ launchctl remove /opt/local/bin/squeezelave launchctl remove error: No such process MNMini:~ nieldm$ ....making sure I also tried entering the full path as well. Ultimately I would like to remove it from my Mac completely, but just stopping it would be a good start. Right now I have two players (Softsqueeze and Squeezeslave) running on my Mac with the same IP address and it seems to be messing with my CLI commands.... Help appreciated.
