Thanks for the reply. I use CleanMyMac for these things. The trouble is
that Squeezeslave isn't an app as such, so I have no idea how to apply a
cleaner to it. If I could see something I could drag into CleanMyMac I
would do it!

Am I missing something basic and fundamental here? Surely I must
be.....it has to be possible to remove, or at least stop, something.
