No I did not. But I now remember I got playback for free long ago on an Ipad version 1. That iPad had iPeng and iPengHD installed. I have used that iPad yesterday (first time after a long time) and it installed the latest versions of iPeng. That must have synched the "Playback enabled status" to my iCloud.
