Hi Triode, This has been a longer standing issue for me:
Following usecase: I often use the search function to browse the spotify collection, when I do that frequently, one search after the other (and in between browsing the results and listening to some tracks): after a several searches the plugin becomes unresponsive (very slow load of cover art, track switching etc etc). Switching to my own ripped music: no problems, LMS itself seems to be okay but when I return to your plugin it remains very slow in response. Also accessing the settingspage of the plugin is slow (all others are fine). When I restart LMS the issue is solved until... Today I noticed that when I, eventually, get to the plugin settings page and change and apply a setting the plugin behaves normally again. I assume the helper app is restarted? The selftest says all is okay.
