I try to understand why some mp3 files don't have sound with localplayer : it seems there is a problem either with my files, either with the libmad library. I have these messages in the log file, and no sound.

I try to read the same file with VLC, I get sound, but there are similar errors with the latest version of VLC (2.0.6 Twoflower) : > > main warning: PTS is out of range (-9993), dropping buffer > main warning: PTS is out of range (-36104), dropping buffer > main warning: audio output out of sync, adjusting dates (85850 us) > main warning: not synchronized (85851 us), resampling > main warning: buffer too late (85397), up-sampling > When I use an old version of VLC (0.8.6f), everything is ok : no warning or error message.
