Can anyone with this problem please post the helper app log at the time
they try to add the password into the settings page and press apply.
It should show:

main:645 attempting login for user: XX
--------------------
Where XX is your user name - if so what is the response to this in the
log.
The reason for asking is that this is working for me and none of the
logs posted so far are showing this message, so I want to verify what
the problem is.
