The main new feature in v0.8.5 is integration with the 'Music & Artist Information' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?99537-Announce-Music-amp-Artist-Information-plugin) plugin if it is installed. You won't get all of it's features (as not everything is exposed as a CLI command by the plugin, which is what I'm using to interface with it), but only the "social" artist information (news, blogs, ...).
