I can stream by own FLAC files without problem. I'm on a one month trial but it says in my account I have access to Qobuz Premium service until 26 January 2014.
You never said how it actually failed. Do you get any error message on the players? You might want to remove the server.prefs file to start from scratch (can always put it back once you've figured things out).
