However, now the hanging behavior is here again. And this started at the
same time as I cancelled my Qobuz - streaming - subscription (I will not
have the time for a certain time to really take advantage of the
subscription, so I will subscribe again at a later time).

Please enable debugging for plugin.qobuz. Then let it do whatever it needs to. When the issue happens, check the server.log file.
