I've checked their code and it's possible to add it to the squeezebox plugin in the same way. Create a new setting on the settings page and use the option if checked. I'm not sure if that solves the problems because i cannot try it. My Ubuntu system doesn't support this option. If FireFlash verifies it works, i can see if i can add the option to the plugin in the same way that Erland did.
