Thanks for your fast reply. Stefan, who made the max2play image has tried WaveInput with a Logi-Link USB sound device and got it runnung.
His instructions: - activate WaveInput plugin in LMS - create a favorite with the URL "wavin:hw:1,0" and name it "Waveinput" - add user "squeezeboxserver" to the group "audio" (usermod -a -G audio squeezeboxserver) A first test showed a delay of about 2 seconds.
