If you look at squeezelite code, in slimproto.c, the messages for on/off are received in process_aude. Re-compiling squeezelite on an ARM is available, in makefile. I'm not a Raspi programmer, but adding what you want in the process_aude is probably fairly easy LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
