Hello Philip, thanks for the updated plugin you posted here, I really started missing it on version 7.9!
I cannot make it active though. I see it always in the Inactive Plugins section of my LMS installation. The plugin is correctly copied in the /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins folder and I set group/owner for all the files recursively but despite several tries I didn't succeed. I also tried deleting the old prefs file, just in case... No reports in LMS log file about this misbehaviour.
