Since we're going to cut an RC4 anyways, I'd say that we should aim to
get as many of the larger bugs (especially those with patches already)
tested and committed before the release as possible. What do you think,
should we target this weekend for a release?
Does a cutoff of Saturday night sound ok? If it's committed before that
then it will make the release.
THe biggest help would be:
1) Committing patches (committers only)
2) Contributing documentation (anyone can help!)
3) Create and Update a release status page on the wiki (anyone can help!)

A made a fix to the root maven.xml file to add the descriptors directory
to the source distribution goal. I also make a couple of small
documentation fixes.
I have not been successful in running the site:deploy goal, but I am
still working on it. This SVN repository seems flaky today (or my
connection to it).
What else can I do to help you with RC4?

Ok, let's go ahead and try to get the fix for the distributions in
within the week. After that we can cut an RC4 with whatever bugs have
been fixed. I think there have been at least 4 since the release.
(Let's try to get those in the release notes).
Craig, Do you have the cycles to get the distribution goal updated?
