According to Takashi, I think we can drop the alsactl hook. http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/pm-utils/2008-November/001808.html For power management aware drivers, they will save and restore their state for suspend. For non-power management aware drivers, they have to be unloaded at suspend time. In that case, the system should be setup to save and restore the state via udev or modprobe. I don't think we should handle that case besides supporting SUSPEND_MODULES. -- Dan _______________________________________________ Pm-utils mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/pm-utils
