I'm still trying to get a default/demo p.mapper running on my CentOS test environment.
I think I have Mapserver/Mapscript running OK because I can make the Itasca and/or Ka-map/Gmap demo work without a problem. When I execute p.mapper, the framework, legend and reference map all display, but the large area where the full map should show is always black. If I click or unclick one of the administrative data layers, the "Loading" image shows up, but it runs as if it was in a loop. My error logs (Apache & PHP) do not give any hints but I have the sense that it must have something to do with the IMAGEPATH and/or IMAGEURL. The pmapper_demo.map has the same IMAGEPATH/IMAGEURL specifications that Gmap/Ka-map use. But no files are being created to be served. Some small detail with big results. But what IS that small detail??? TIA.
