IMHO, the most basic bundle might be for a generic Widget Clubs.  Two options come to mind.
  • Editable Wiki Site (with edit menu)
  • Login Editing.
  • To determine default pages for either club site, post some sort of poll of what pages one might like to see in the menu/side bar.
  • I suppose the cat's meow would be to provide a couple 'expanded' sandbox sites for experienced wiki folks to create and manage generic bundles.
    • Users looking for bundles could ideally poke a button somewhere to download the desired 'sandbox' (all of the pages and recipes used) for their own uploading...

Prebundled wikis are definitely something useful to have. Something to
avoid the terror of staring at all the recipes, some of which duplicate
and/or conflict, trying to figure out which you need.

I have to agree. I started using pmwiki in Sept. of last yr and I am still
tweaking it. It would be nice to have a so called 'prebundled' pmwiki. It
would have saved me loads of time.

But the open question is "prebundled with what"? Lots of people
wish things were "bundled", but there's often little agreement as to
what should be included in the bundle. :-)

I totally agree with the notion of bundling. I'll even help a bit
with maintaining the bundles, at least the popular ones. But we
need some sort of consensus on the particular bundles that are
desirable. :-)
