Peggy, did you know Hackett criticized Brown for being TOO Liberal.
Hackett was interviewed on various television and radio shows, including
Air America and he always supported the troops and favored withdrawal when
Iraqis could take over for themselves. He did not support an immediate
withdrawal. I do. And I don't support the troops.
Hackett received money from the idiot bloggers, including KOS and other
experts without credentials. They reaised funds for his congressional run
but now that he decided to run for Senate he had to raise his own money
and it wasn't happening. What does Hackett do? He attacks Brown, who is
more progressive than he is and he blames everyone else for the fact that
he can't raise the money. And who was going to raise money for him to run
a more rightwing campaign, certainly to the right of Brown? Nobody.
It is sour grapes for Hackett to complain about not being the best
candidate, the most preferred and mainstream TV has it all wrong too; they
say he was too much the radical. NOT.
