      Let's see now:
      1. the "ports in New York, New Jersey,
Philadelphia,Miami, Baltimore, and New Orleans" are
now controlled by a company subject to the laws of a
foreign country, i.e., Great Britain, a Christian
nation, who would like to sell them to a company
subject to he laws of ANOTHER foreign country, Dubai,
an Islamic nation. Whom would terrorists be more
likely to attack?
      2. How did six of our largest ports come to
belong to foreign countries' companies?
      3. Who sold them?
      4. Where did the money go?
      5. Sen. Schumer "...approaches this with a great
deal of dubiousness...." but is it with a great deal
of DUBAI-dubiousness?
(Sorry about that last, but I couldn't resist it
-- repeat after me: DUBAI DUBIOUS, DUBAI DUBIOUS! See
what I mean?)

"...A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers on
Thursday called for hearings on the purchase of
London-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation
Co., the U.K.'s largest port operator, by DP World,
Dubai's port company. With the acquisition, DP World
would gain control over most operations at ports in
New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Miami, Baltimore
and New Orleans.

""Ports are the front lines of the war on
terrorism," Menendez said. "We wouldn't turn the
Border Patrol or the Customs Service over to a foreign
government, and we can't afford to turn our ports over
to one either."...."
      ***** Isn't England a foreign governnment?****
"...Rice described Dubai as "a very good friend"
of the United States...."
"... Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y. He was one
of the signatories to the letter. "I approach this
with a great deal of dubiousness," Schumer told
reporters in Washington. "The chances for infiltration
are just too great."

"...Jarrod Agen, a spokesman for the Homeland
Security Department, said Thursday that the U.S.
government would still control the ports...."
*****After all, we fought a foreign country to
get them in the first place, didn't we? When did we
give them back?*****
