You can't be serious about this. How are you going to simulate what you do
not understand? Remember that I told you MDs are NOT scientists, but rather
small business people and helpers. They are not, as a group, discovering
anything, just applying discoveries made by others - trained scientists -
(at best) or that they believe in for personal reasons. Faith based practice
is the rule, evidence base medicine is actually rare. Anyone old enough to
see value on that post below and to act on it deserves the medicine that it
will yield in their final days when the majority of the medical care that
people get is received.

Action Alert: Help End Live Animal Labs in Medical Schools

Help us end live animal labs in medical schools.

The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is winning its campaign to
end the use of live animals in medical school education. Twenty years ago,
live dogs were commonly used in physiology, pharmacology, and surgery labs
at medical schools. A standard lab involved anesthetizing the dog followed
by injecting pharmaceuticals or practicing surgical techniques.

The animal was killed after the lab.

As PCRM helped bring this practice to light, some switched to using pigs,
ferrets, or other animals in an effort to lessen public scrutiny and
criticism. Most schools eliminated the practice altogether. Today, more than
80 percent of medical schools in the United States have eliminated live
animal laboratories from their curricula. Innovations in medical simulation
technology, availability of alternatives, increased awareness of ethical
concerns, and a growing acknowledgement that medical training must be
human-focused have all facilitated this shift.
