Islam is a religion of conquest; rape and pillage. The lure of Islam was
booty. That was the attraction. Muhammad said to follow him and they
would share in the spoils - it was all about the prize.
Check the chronology. Jews were murdered when Muhammad began his
muerderous rampage in Medina. Not Christians. The Crusades were a
consequence of Islamic conquest. Islamists considered themselves the final
religion and still do. All others are infidels. The Islamic conquest of
Jerusalem began hundreds of years before the Christian Crusades. Your
thesis does not hold up.
