Dear pocl developers,

As LLVM 3.3 is branching on Monday we shall start planning
the pocl 0.8 release as well.

I propose the following schedule:

pocl 0.8 branch creation and release candidate testing
against LLVM 3.3 RC packages starts soon after the LLVM 3.3
RC is out. By their schedule the RC might be out already
on Monday so we might do the branching, e.g., on Wednesday 8th.

Is the schedule OK or too early?

Before this date please get your new stuff in the lp:pocl branch if
you want it to get included in the 0.8 release. After the
branching it shall be bug fixes only to get it stabilized for
release.

The pocl 0.8 release then happens, as usual, after the RC tar balls
have received "enough" testing with success reports. I hope to get
this done before mid June.

If you have something pending you might want to get in before
the branching takes please let me know.

Thanks,
--
Pekka
