The LLVM 3.3 release branch has been created. I suggest that we take this
opportunity to make a final decision on what we want to have in pocl 0.8.
- The ARM gnueabihf branch merge seems to come along nicely, so we should
definitively include it.
- Are there champions/volunteers for the two open bugs on <
https://launchpad.net/pocl/+milestone/0.8>? The two bugs are support for
OSX <10.7, and the ViennaCL/Boost interaction. I suggest to go ahead
without addressing these bugs unless there are volunteers.
Given the size of the pocl community, my hope that most of us will
contribute towards release testing, pocl's development speed, and our
release time scale, I would like to have the first few rounds of testing on
pocl's trunk, i.e. before creating the release branch. This should save us
the majority of backporting or forward-porting corrections between the
trunk and the release branch. Please let me know if this conflicts with
your interests.
I plan to report OSX test results for the LLVM 3.3 release branch on the
wiki soon. Please do the same.
