Hi,
I suppose it was removed in favour of fontconfig, which does "the hard
work" of finding the font files for PoDoFo.
It's easier on Windows, because GDI offers GetFontData() function,
which returns the file content, without any idea on its actual location
in the file system. PoDoFo uses this GetFontData() internally on
Windows.
