I gave the references a try every now and then and half of the time it
confused me more than it helped >.<. It's quite some heavy lecture. But now
I ordered Leonards book, hoping it helps me understanding ^^.

I agree that reading the specification can tell me if I missed something to
be removed. But that does only count for PDF related fields and objects. I
cannot fathom whether there are some Podofo specific objects which have to
be removed as well. Furthermore I'm still not quite sure if I can just
bluntly call the Clear() functions to get the corresponding PDF elements
removed. It looks like it works, the file size is decreasing, but I don't
know if there are any pitfalls, e.g. wrong order of clears, certain objects
not to cleared and so on. These are podofo-specific questions I'm asking ;).
