Does anyone know what the rough structure and purpose of the different HDF packages? I've looked at some and I some idea for a few, but then I find almost identical files in two different directories (extractor and model/hdftypes) and I'm curious about their purpose. Basically, I'm going to need HDF sometime in the future and I thought that I may start working on it.
