Is the Patch that accompanied this email valid or has it been changed?  If
it has changed could I have the final version? I read the IRC logs and it
appeared to me that there might have been a minor change to it.

I think you are correct.  The attached patch is a rework that takes your
suggestion.  It passes all test on poker-engine and poker-network on Debian
sid.

I'm thinking of committing it to trunk tomorrow.  Can someone find me on IRC
and scream STOP if they don't want me to?

The attached patch is copyrighted by me and licensed GPLv3-or-later.
