The changes described in the thread you quoted were incorporated into the trunk version of pokersource in mid-February. If you build a poker-network installation from trunk, you will definitely get the work that I did on the tourney table balancing. I am not sure the patches that I posted will apply cleanly against other versions of poker-network. I am also unsure when/if the changes made their way into Debian, Ubuntu, and Fedora. I would suspect they have found their way into Debian-unstable (Loic, can you confirm?), but that may be the only place, if at all.
