You need to to install the mysql source code from your original
Installation "dvd"
ti install the file mysql.h + others....
(MUS BE FOR YOUR OS)
then run eg.,
rpm - Uvh mysql-devel-5.0.22-2.1.x86_64.rpm
(and also Install any other dependent source-code packages....)
