I haven't tracked Sys::Syslog. However, if I put things right, then the format string issue was around Sep. 2005. The changelog available on CPAN starts on Dec. 2005. So I assume that the format string issue was fixed before 0.09. However, it's an assumption. http://search.cpan.org/src/SAPER/Sys-Syslog-0.18/Changes You can read the changes from 0.13 to 0.18 there. The [BUGFIX] items unfortunately don't tell when the bug(s) was/were introduced. I suspect 0.13 should be ok. 0.16 is not O.K.
