I have a problem with polipo and tor. I have configured polipo with:
socksParentProxy = "localhost:9050"
socksProxyType = socks5
which should be fine. If I start Tor and than Polipo everything is working. But
if I start Polipo and than Tor it's not working. Why that? I'm starting polipo
as a service on my linux box. Tor is started manually after booting with
vidalia. And this doesn't work. I always have to do restart polipo to get it
working with tor. So it seems that Tor has to be started before polipo, which
is annoying. Is there any workaround for this problem?
