I own a desktop and a laptop with Ubuntu. I'd like to use Polipo on both. But when I access a website using my laptop at work, my desktop cannot take the benefit of the content cached on my laptop. In the opposite way, if I access a website in my desktop and get some content cache, if I leave home and access this website again in my laptop, all content will be new, without taking benefit from caching. I already have some means of rsyncing stuff between my desktop and laptop when they're in the same LAN. So my question is: Would Polipo break if I set it's cache to be rsynced between my computer and my desktop? What I want to do is a good approach?
