Gaar, Well, I'm certainly one hell of a lot more concerned about democracy in the U.S than in the ME. BTW, other than Iraq and Afghanistan what other countries in the ME have we "brought democracy to"?
When was that famous "purple finger" election anyway? That was a national election for Parliment members, wasn't it? I wonder why we never read about elections for province leaders, city majors, local school board members, dog-catchers, anything like that. You know, American style democracy.You have any idea?
