here Gaar, Let ME help YOU........ Chryslers hard assets were worth
more than the loan starting with 700 million in autos (with 20%
discounted) not to mention the marine division, the 15% share of a
very healthy Peugot, military Tank contracts, and lots of land and
buildings and equipment all put up as the guarantee from the
Government.....

tell me what hard collateral (auction in one month of failure) the
banks have for collateral other than the BAD PAPER that put them in
this position?? they do not have the sellable assets to assure
anything.

Only an idiot would even TRY to compare the two scenarios.......
