Well of course it does... Since it doesn't work well in an Individual Country, you have to claim that is because it needs to happen everywhere. Capitalism doesn't care, and carries on regardless of what others do. Your Death Knell of Capitalism is a Fantasy taking place only in your own tiny little mind. You obviously don't understand the "Big Picture" and how the U.S. creates the most Wealth the World has ever seen, bar none. When People were complaining that these Foreign Nations were buying all of our Debt, guess what was a big part of that "Buy"?!?!?!? And now the World is doing worse than we are, because WE have SHOWN that we are the most stable during a Crisis, and that is what we have. So sit back and watch as the U.S. drives the World Economy, yet again. Looks like it is going to be time to start finding some Deals in the Markets...
