I'm sorry, did Egypt and Isreal go to war and no one bothered to tell me? The peace treaty between Egypt and Isreal brokered by Jimmy Carter and signed on the White House grounds has been holding for damn near 30 years now. Considering the fact they fought 3 wars between 1949 and 1973, I don't think almost 30 years of peace is "nothing".
