that has yet to be proven. until a government can operate on its own how without a foreign military force that most of its citizens consider to be invaders can one say democracy has beenestablished. In Afghanistan the majority of allied countries are in agreement that what is needed is a good dictator for any semblance of government to survive. (these are the same governments who refused to violate Iraqi sovereignity based on the Bush lies) Iraq had a working, fully functioning, blooming democracy before the US involved itself in their affairs under Eisenhour and te CIA gave saddam a job boost in order to secure oil. Two wrongs do not make a right. The first intervention was against everything the US said it stood for and the second is even worse. > and doing more than any previous President about AIDS in Africa, a big claim that still amounts to nothing. as > well as many other Issues accross the African Continent, and that is pure bullshit. look at darfur, the US has the ability to control the horns air space for the cost of jet fuel only and still does nothing as the oil there belongs to the chinese who are happy not to market it at this time. putting it on the market would ruin the mid east coalition of arab states that the us supports militarily.
