O-yes they do. Even Obama was considered not black enough in Chicago's South Side political machine. And it is a machine. Michelle helped him out on this issue and so did his Trinity Church affiliation. Hard to believe Jane Byrne made it to the mayor's office- my college. Chicago is the Black capitol of America. It represents a counter culture to White America.
