There is no comfort in paying capital gains, Hollywood! :-) Who made what? Who owns what? The government didn't- the individual did. It reminds me of the protection rackets.// The outcome? Capital doesent move/redistribute. American women own a great deal of capital assets due the early deaths of their husbands, etc. Women tend to be savers and cautious so capital is put in the fruit cellar with strawberry jam.
