I have been getting the automatic updates from msft since I bought this
puter in 06. the windoes updates come in once a month (with occ other
times). never been any problem. I get notices from real player, java and
others also. I use McAfee and they do updates all the time with no notice.
I m no geek so I let the experts do their job. I also subscribe to
worldstart.com and Joe's sharing and caring society for info. I get good
info from both as they are tied together. also Ws has some excellent deals
on software and other goodies. I do recommend World Start.
And I really appreciate any help and info I get from othere here and
elsewhere. being old school I keep hard copy. My brother used to write code
for msft and he told me there was no need for paper copy. Then his puter
crashed and he lost everything. If mine does that, i have a paper list of
everything i have.
