The War Preachers of Islam

By James Lewis <http://www.americanthinker.com/author/james_lewis/>

“I hate your government, your lies, your corruption, your religion, your
double standard and your hypocrisy,” wrote the son of Ayatollah Rouhani,
just before he killed himself.

“I was forced to lie to my friends each day, telling them that my father
isn’t part of all of this. Telling them my father loves this nation,
whereas I believe this to be untrue. It makes me sick seeing you, my
father, kiss the hand of [Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei.”

So reported the Saudi-funded London paper *al-Sharq al-Awsat*
<http://nypost.com/2013/06/20/damning-suicide-note-to-irans-new-prez/>.

That tragic suicide note shows a modern-minded, idealistic young man -- who
had the misfortune of being imprisoned by a war-making priesthood, his own
father being his own worst jailer. While New York *Times* disinformation
has it that Rouhani, Sr. is the smiling face of Iran, the children of the
regime know better. Rouhani is a war priest, spreading the doctrines and
practices of holy war.

The basic rule for hagiocracies -- rule by power-hungry priests -- is that
they all claim to serve God, but end up serving only themselves. Look at
the mullahs of Iran and the Wahhabis of Saudi Arabia for just two examples.
Both have financed four decades of hate propaganda against the West and
Israel -- and each other. *Without that hate propaganda the Long Jihad
would never have started.*

And yes, there are peaceful Muslims -- in the Islamiyya sect, the Bahaii’s,
many Sufis. Some Shi’ites are pacifists. Many Muslims act peacefully for
practical reasons. Yet they also follow preachers who constantly talk about
Jihad in their Friday sermons. Muslim apologists will tell you that “jihad”
means “inner struggle,” but it also means ruthless murder of innocent
civilians -- including children -- just like the atrocities we see today.
There is no getting away from the fact that “striking at the neck”
(decapitation) is a Koranic commandment.

After initially denouncing ISIS as barbarians, the Saudis have admitted
that yes, ISIS is just following Allah’s commandments. Like Japan’s Divine
Emperor cult, jihad must be confronted for what it is, never mind all the
blind evasions.

It’s easy enough to get confused by all the front names for jihad. But
underneath they are all the same. When it comes to priestly war doctrines,
Iran = ISIS = Saudi Arabia = Qatar = Hamas = Hizb’allah = CAIR = Muslim
Brotherhood. That’s the whole point about a universal war theology.

Yes, the different sects fight each other. But they all are taught to
convert infidels by war, missionary propaganda, personal persuasion,
flattery, influence buying, sabotage, and deception.

Religious war dogma does not necessarily lead to direct violence; but
historically, the two great branches of Islam, the Sunnis and Shi’ites,
have never been at peace with each other. The tremendous expansion of Islam
after Mohammed’s death spread from Persia to Turkey, North Africa and
India, to the Balkans and Europe. Violent jihad was the key to the spread
of Islam. It still is.

The Western public still doesn’t understand this, which is why the
atheistic Left, for example, can passionately support Holy War gangs like
Hamas, which follows ISIS doctrines word for word. But simply read H.G.
Wells’ *Outline of History *online
<http://archive.org/details/OutlineOfHistory>, or any other history written
before the Age of PC, and all the facts are there.

During the British Raj in India the British became very skilled at setting
different creeds and local rulers against each other. That is how they
governed a vast subcontinent with small numbers of British and Irish
troops, along with many native regiments. Many of the local rulers were
Muslims.

The Indian Partition of 1948 pitted Muslims against non-Muslims, with some
three million dead. Muslim Pakistan has never stopped launching terror
attacks against India. Yet India has managed to live with a substantial
Muslim population. Unlike the West, India does not delude itself about
violent Islam. That is a mature approach to Islamic aggression, one that
the West has not yet achieved. India shows that nations can live with
Muslim populations, and even with hostile Muslim neighbors like Pakistan.
But it can’t be done by deceiving ourselves, the way our politicians have
deceived us. Telling the truth is a first step, an absolute necessity for
reaching some workable accommodation.

Western commentators can’t even seem to think of the right word for the
outbreak of global jihad since the 1973 Arab Oil Embargo. Should it be
called “the Islamic Awakening” or “the Muslim Ascendancy? “

I don’t think so. It should be called what it is, the *Great Muslim
Regression *-- a vast reactionary movement to pre-modern hagiocracies that
were suppressed by secular dictators in the 20th century.

The Jihad War is also *a war against modernity *-- including all the humane
and scientific advances that more flexible civilizations have achieved
since the Italian Renaissance. Jihadists love the burp guns produced by
Western technology, but they will never understand the scientific
worldview, nor the societies that build science and high technology.

John Kerry is incapable of facing that nasty truth, which is “so 20th
century” (in his words). Kerry honestly thinks human nature has changed
permanently for the better. But history will have the last word.

Aldous Huxley’s wrote two great books about the psychology of religious
fanatics, *The Devils of Loudun *
<http://www.amazon.com/Devils-Loudun-Aldous-Huxley/dp/0061724912/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1417046155&sr=1-6&keywords=aldous+huxley>--
(made into a movie called *The Devils*) -- and *Grey Eminence*
<http://www.amazon.com/Grey-Eminence-Aldous-Huxley/dp/0099477823/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1417046318&sr=1-1&keywords=aldous+huxley+grey+eminence>
.* Grey Eminence *follows the life of Cardinal Richelieu’s Father Joseph
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran%C3%A7ois_Leclerc_du_Tremblay>, the
Catholic monk and mystic who helped to stir up holy wars against the
enemies of France, including the Habsburgs and the Turks. Father Joseph
whipped up war “ad maiorem Dei gloriam
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_maiorem_Dei_gloriam>” -- for the greater
glory of God. That idea has now been revived in Islam.

ISIS atrocities are not random, but prescribed *by the law of God *-- if
you believe their war priests. Last month ISIS published its Koranic
warrant for slave-taking and mass rape of Yazidi women and children, a warrant
from God
<http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/10/isis-releases-latest-magazine-dabiq-justify-enslavement-of-yazidis/>telling
them that it’s really okay to revert to the worst kind of primitive
barbarism. (Just don’t show the horrors on YouTube.)

For Obama and the Europeans to enable Iran’s quest for a Bomb is therefore
astoundingly stupid. Nobody will be safe with a Khomeinist bomb -- not
Moscow or Beijing, New York or Tokyo. Vladimir Putin lives just fifteen
minutes from Tehran by ICBM, and when Iran gets the Bomb nobody will be
safe.

History will surely see Obama’s nuclear surrender as the greatest folly
ever, worse than the infamous appeasement of Hitler. Hitler never had a
Bomb.

Unless a miracle occurs, Ayatollah Rouhani will have one soon.
