"Look, I was with the people of France yesterday in mind, body, and soul. My prayers and thoughts were with them as I resolutely stood against violence and all forms of racial and religious hatred," Obama told reporters at the hastily-called White House press conference. To back up his statement, the White House released a photo of a solemn President Obama wearing a symbolic black beret on a golf course Sunday (below).
