When I was in the Army stationed in Germany, 1955-56, at what used to be a German air base at Nurnberg-Furth, Germany. We had, in our office, a young German secretary with a 5 year old son. Sometimes we talked about WWII when she was a teenager. The topic of Hitler came up. All she could do is shrug her shoulders and I say I don’t know why we went along with that. There was no explanation. Germany was still in the process of recovery from WWII. One Sunday afternoon, my room-mate and I left the German air base and went to the west side of Nurnberg to a huge arena. Nurnberg was Adolph Hitler’s Nazi Party headquarters-starting point. In recognition of that, Hitler built a huge parade field/stadium where he could address crowds of 200,000+ and/or review troops marching past in mass. My room-mate, a Jewish fellow, and I walked around the huge amphitheater awed at the size of it and the gigantic size of the cement platform-reviewing stand. Looking from the top , I looked up at my roommate. He looked like an ant and from a distance, smaller yet. We took turns up there and each have a picture of the event. My roommate got a glimpse of the starting point of the Holocaust which killed so many of his people. CHARACTERISTICS OF ADOLPH HITLER: 1. Liked to orate before gigantic approving crowds. 2. Wanted adoration by his gigantic crowds and made extravagant promises in return for that adoration. 3. Liked to shout as he orated, making extravagant promises to the hordes and making bogeymen of those who opposed him. 4. Had no resume of accomplishment in any area to show that he was able to keep his extravagant promises. CHARACTERISTICS OF BARACK OBAMA: 1. Likes to orate before gigantic approving crowds. 2. Wants adoration by his gigantic crowds and makes extravagant promises in return for that adoration. 3. Likes to shout as he orates, making extravagant promises to the hordes and making bogeymen of those who opposed him. 4. Has no resume of accomplishment in any area to show that he is able to keep his extravagant promises.
